runnin system
Donny Sokol, 2017
pillow kissed my heart every night
when awake in a dream
shot a deer in the forest for winters game
say out loud his name
covering society faults by saying
it would be better next day
so this fallen country stay
as it was and is like before
like in old dreams of old men
running fast for money to cover
their soul
we almost die
we almost die
But they forget how to cry
they don’t discover themselves
in a dream, but in every hotel
they serve breakfast with golden
eggs and apples for the human kind
who cares about enemies,
when society is for themselves
in that running system we all must die
we almost die
we almost die
time and numbers are your friends
but thats good enough to stand
sentimental in front of your fathers
grave with black numbers in your head
you feel comfortable much more
than before
some holy ghosts from the future
told you to become a monster
in a warm lightning shinning furniture
of lovely head shooting gun star
so pack your numbers, skin and fly
in a running system we all must die
somewhere on this field
around here you will die
so smile at last
past is the past
here you arrive
Don’t burn the fire
never coming home
stay up all night
until you die
time for standing free
this is my stand
this is my step
