Is there a (portable) way to rotate text in a HTML table cell by 90°?

(I have a table with many columns and much text for the headings, so I’d like to write it vertically to save space.)

Instead of rotating the text, would it work to have it written “top to bottom?”

Android bug renders text-rendering property useless?

Was checking this website on an Android phone (Galaxy S with Android 2.3) and saw some very weird boxes popping up all over the page. After a quick round of debugging, it turned out `text-rendering: optimizelegibility;` was the culprit. So unfortunately, until [this bug](http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=15067) is fixed, don't use `text-rendering: optimizelegibility;` if you want your site to display well on Android.
