Non functional test
What is non-functional testing? It is the opposite of functional testing, but, it is a software testing category that involves various testing techniques, used by testers to check non-functional traits of a system. It checks aspects of the system that functional testing does not. The main purpose of non-functional testing is to evaluate the system’s reaction to any unforeseen and severe events. As a result, it reduces production risk and helps avoid losses that are connected with non-functional aspects such as servers, databases or networks. It gives management broader insight about the product in general. With the help of non-functional testing it is also possible to improve usability, efficiency and optimize the product.
