The Sword of Destiny (Side quest idea)
Here's one for you Dm's that want a track down side quest.
The players are around a hilly area & find that their is a sword on one of the hills. If they go up & look at the sword they will find that their is a small note on it, which reads "Please return the Sword of Destiny to Owlin Destiny at (insert address here)." If the players do this they will meet Owlin Destiny who will tell them that the sword was placed their as a test to see those who would be honorable enough to return it. Owlin Destiny will then enchant the sword making it hit for +2 harder & then give it back to the party.
If the party decides to not originally return the sword & to instead keep it, the sword will be taken after they go to rest for the night. They will also find that some of their loot may have also ben taken.
