Stitchpunks, Stitchups, Reanimates... Whatever people called them, they were now the US of A’s main source of cheap unskilled labor. The slavery industry had simply swapped from blacks to these reanimated corpses- and Alfred was one of the lucky few Reanimates to be freed by his owner. He was still heavily discriminated against however-
So when he got the chance to invite one of the Living to dwell with him, he couldn’t help but to smile to himself. This would take care of a lot of the social problems he faced, in addition to helping a guy hide out from his political enemies. There he was at the train station, waiting to meet him.
