Four years into HRT. My life is still a mess of indecisive panicking, I have no idea what I’m doing with my future, doing anything with my hair or makeup is beyond me, I’m eternally lonely and probably forever alone...
Wait, this was meant to be positive.
OK, I haven’t changed that much physically, but it’s been so long since I shed that old shell. I’m living my own life and, as hectic as it is, I’m so grateful I have the chance to be myself, day in, day out. My body isn’t perfect, but then who is ever 100% happy with their self? (Maybe people with the money to get a perfect body *shrug*) I’ve made so much progress and sometimes I have to remember to look back and see how far I've come.
I’m still anxious. I’m still meek. I’m still afraid of showing any art of my body. But seeing this anniversary (hormoniversary?) come around has picked me up again. I’ve wanted to better myself recently, and this is the best reassurance I can think of.
