These warblers are found in tropical and subtropical lowland forests of southern China, northwestern India, Bhutan, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam, often near streams. Their diet is not known in detail, but is probably made up of invertebrates, including insect larvae. Little is known about their breeding behavior.
