Okay before I get into my synopsis and the review, I know I promised and Exorcist 2 review, but that will have to wait. I can't decide whether I hated it or loved it so it's difficult for me to write a review for it, maybe I'll rewatch at the end of summer and then put up a review.

Before I get to into details, I must say that I am a huge fan of the Friday series. It's up there on my favourite list because they're so fun! Okay, so, the Friday The 13th remake really surpassed my expectations, an dI had no idea what and where the film was heading for. It's not really a remake. The killer is not Pamela. Pretty much it's just a sequel to the films, but say parts 1-4. The film is introduced with a bunch of teens who go to camp crystal lake for fun and to party and whatnot. One of the teens tells the tale of the woman who killed teenagers and was beheaded and her son Jason! So I thought the intro would be the whole movie, I thought it was a corny remake that was like the sequels and brought a bunch of teenagers to Camp Crystal Lake and killed them one by one. I was wrong. this is only the first 20 minutes, and four out of the 5 *SPOILERALERT* teenagers are killed within that time by Jason. By then I was confused and I had no idea what would happen next. I was really digging the flick. So the girl who survives the first 20 minutes has a brother. The guy who plays her brother plays Sam on Supernatural, and I can't think of his name right now. ANYWAY, he goes looking for her and while he does that, he comes across a group of partying teens. They're also at Crystal Lake, but on the opposite side of the camp. Jason doesn't seem to care where you are though! The brother eventually does find his sister [who Jason kept prisoner for no apparent reason]. In the end, pretty much everyone dies [like in most of the Friday films]. the only survivors are the man and his sister, but Jason comes back in the final second and it is unclear whether he killed them or not.

Okay I'll give it a 7/10. I expected it to be pretty awful, but it turned out to be pretty good. If you haven't seen it, it's definitely worth checking out. It seems to be in five dollar bins everywhere, and cheap at gas stations and whatnot. I don't regret buying it! It stayed fairly true to the originals, characters who drank, did drugs, had sex, or were nude even briefly died, and it was really fun! The acting was pretty solid, and the effects were pretty good. Two things I hated about it were that Jason ran, and he kept the one girl. Jason just... you can do a lot with his character, but you shouldn't make him run. It makes him less scary. He seemed to kind of care for the girl in some scenes, you could see it in his eyes. But I didn't like that, it's not his style, he sees, he kills. That's how it works. I'd describe this movie as a risk taker, some risks paid off, others not so much. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed it, and I'd recommend fans of the series to check it out.

Still on a tablet, so if there's some questionable spelling I'm sorry! Anyway, the film I am reviewing in this super reviews of all reviews is the twisted twins debut film "Dead Hooker In A Trunk"!

Like you probably noticed, I hate writing a big ass summaries for movies, it ruins the film if you do decide to watch it, and I hate reading reviews like that. Reviews should tell you if it's good or not, and why, with an ever so small summary. I'll stop ranting now. So "Dead Hooker In A Trunk" is a very fun, independent, Canadian film about a group of friends who discover a dead prostitute in their cars trunk. They can't remember if they killed her or not, so they play it safe by disposing of the body.

This film is easily my second favourite horror flick, right next to "Ginger Snaps" so I have to give it a 9 out of 10. It's very rare to come across an original, well done horror film that was done recently, so you have to love it. I know, my insanely mini plot summary might make it sound unoriginal, but trust me it isn't! There's all sorts of crazy, and unbelievable cheesy side stories that make it fun, and never dull. It had fairly good special effects, especially when you take it's extremely small budget into consideration. The music was weird, and a bit risky, but memorable! It did work well, it was just different, and not what you would expect in a horror movie. It's got a little bit of everything horror element wise, you can tell the twins grew up on horror and this is reflected in the movie a lot. It's like a good old 80's slasher, but recent, and with less slashing, it's just got that fun energy! I really look forward to seeing more from the twisted twins, they're keeping horror alive and original!

You simply have to see it, you just have to! Its so much fun and you won't regret it, the only thing that I didn't enjoy was the sound quality, but the rest of the film makes up for it. If you are American, Netflix it! If not, I'd say it's worth adding to your DVD collection, and DVDs are for sale on Amazon!

The 80's and it's fun campy films! Teenage Wasteland is the third installment of the Sleepaway Camp franchise, and probably my personal favourite! It's so campy, that it's loads of fun. Most people hate this film, and most would say to watch only the first Sleepaway camp, maybe the second, but to leave this one out. I guess you ciuld say this is almost a guilty pleasure of mine.

Teenage Wasteland is just your average 80's, straight to video campy slasher sequel. It has a new set of counselors and campers, who finally think the killer, Angela Baker is gone! Unfortunately for them, Angela's back and killing, killing, killing! I don't really want or need to say much more about it, its very simple, but fun.

As much as people will question me as a horror fan for doing this, I have to give this movie a 5 out of 10, for the fact that it's just fun! It has little else going for it, but it's a fun little flick. The story was weak, and the characters were hard to like, but you weren't supposed to like them! It's a film where you're supposed to root for the killer, and I did! The characters she killed were jerks, so you didn't feel much sympathy for them. It did have a fair amount of nudity, and other explicit content, but all of the Sleepaway movies do, they're just as bad as Friday the 13th! The ending was okay. It was cheesier than cheese, but it worked and worked well with the movie, because the movie was just as cheesy! I dare say, this was my personal favourite from the series, not as good as a movie as the first, but I personally liked it better!
