Kind of crazy that the Ghostbusters franchise never introduced Terror Dog puppies in any official capacity. You’d think they would make for great marketable plushies and other merchandise. Puppies seem like a more obvious choice of cute mascot over Slimer too (even though I love him).
… Maybe the only reason is because their existence would raise the awkward question of whether Lois and Dana would technically be their parents?

...I will say, I was embarassed it took me as long as it did to realize that the whole Gatekeeper/Keymaster gag from Ghostbusters, in addition to being a sex joke, was probably also a riff on Yog-Sothoth's I Am The Gate/I Am The Key schtick.
Yanno, given the Lovecraft influences at all. Tho, on that note, god it's funny how the cartoon basically called Gozer a punkass bitch compared to Cthulhu...

Felt like I definitely had to do something for Halloween this year, went for Ghostbusters and you know… these guys are kind of generic huh? It's no wonder that it's Slimer and Stay Puft are the iconic characters out of the Ghostbusters.
