I'm so glad that Sacred and Terrible Air got translated to English because I love all these horribly fucked-up nasty characters existing at the very threshold of the end of time. And, y'know. The way it reframes all of Disco Elysium.

Imagine if one day Luiga drops his faceclaim for Tereesz (who's mostly his character!) and it's completely different from the frankly impressive convergent evolution of Tereesz fanart. Like, I don't think I've seen two Jespers look anything alike, Zigis fluctuate, Khans can go a few ways, but Tereeszs gonna Tereesz. How did his writers picture him, I wonder!

On the heels of @deardoomedworld's Tereeszposting, their pointing out Tereesz's parallels with Frantiček the Brave and in particular their shared end... I'm reminded that while the connection is not as pronounced, Khan also has his own Iilmaraan hero he pictured himself as as a kid... so in this light, one could try to frame his ending as "disappears on a quest to speak with God" and it's a fascinating thought?
