Just how long do I have to wait here?

Dabi initially didn’t want to wake Sleeping Beauty up but after five minutes of sitting on the floor next to the bed and just waiting for Masaki to stir awake, his patience is starting to run its course. He stares up at the archer’s soft sleeping features, recalling the severe stab wound the guy had to go through in the middle of that breach security nonsense. Dabi still hasn’t found the chance to tell him that the incident was due to his indiscretion but he does plan on telling him soon.

Maybe after he’s fully recovered. Maybe. Admitting that to Masaki could also mean losing his one and only meal ticket and quite frankly, Dabi isn’t ready to give up warm homemade meals just yet. Tired sapphire eyes trace down to the bandage wrapped around the other male’s middle and he wonders if poking his injury would be enough to jolt him awake. But then his pondering doesn’t last long when he sees Masaki slowly waking up.

          “Ah, that was amazing!” He couldn’t help but speak up, really—given that he considered himself a skilled archer as well. Wei Wuxian wasn’t at all surprised that the man hit the mark, given the way he had postured himself before he made the said shot.

“If you want something to eat or drink, you can just ask. The host is paying for everything regardless of whether or not it gets consumed, and I don’t particularly care to carry it all back.” Rather, have Lancer or Gray carry it back, but it was still additional effort.

Catra was in her favorite napping spot in the Cotes ward. Cats were so common in this ward nobody bugged her. An owl descended from the sky, and landed right on top of her head. Still sleepy, Catra swatted at the air to get the owl to fly away. 

She blinked and as she saw it take off again, she wondered just for a moment what it would be like to fly. If she could leave, take off into the sky or sea, she would have run away from the fight zone a long time ago. Wings like those, she wanted them. 

Catra suddenly got on all fours and went chasing after the bird. She bounded, and lept onto a nearby high wall, balanced on the top of it, and then jumped to a nearby rooftop. She kept running following the bird until she reached a small forest clearing.

Catra pounced. The bird simply flew out of the way escaping her claws, but as Catra fell she hit a blue haired man instead. “Ow. Stupid asshole bird.” Catra said, before she looked down on who she had landed on.“I’m not going to say sorry for landing on you. Don’t you think it’s your fault for standing there?” 

 My Melody was floating along in the sky towards the Cotes ward; on her way home from running a few errands. She was super happy to have gotten her parasol upgraded so that she could fly around like this again. However, she tended to forget that the parasol had a time limit placed on it by the Stars: 30 minutes of flight per day. No more, no less. Typically she’d never hit this limit, and thus it was out of sight out of mind. Though today she had taken a bit more time to get home, wanting to see the sights and all.

 Before she knew it she found herself descending towards the ground. “Eh?What’s wrong with my parasol?” She couldn’t control the descent, but at the very least she was able to gently float downwards. My Melody assumed she was still safe-- until suddenly a gust of harsh went whipped passed; turning her parasol inside out and causing her descent to become life threatening. “YAAN!” She let out a panicked yelled, falling towards the ground at a rapid rate. “AAAA!” 

It was annoying to finally find some progression in his journey only to find himself somewhere unknown, with his gun and the Maten Sutra stolen away. Odds were against that damned Ukoku Sanzo having it, concerning himself to find these items would be a waste of energy when he didn't know where the enemy of this city stayed. It was large... but he could bide his time and find it.

After an exhale of smoke Genjo crouches down and stuffs the tail of his cigarette into the sand. Violet eyes scan the expanse of the beach, he's not entirely alone - but thank the fucking Gods there were no screaming children on this beach. A second thought is given to sitting in the sand, before he drops down with a sigh to stare out at the water again. It was peaceful. A rare occurrence for the priest, and so he decides to take advantage of the moment to close his eyes and meditate.

Minutes pass and quieting his mind was proving to be difficult at the moment. There were too many questions: how the hell did he get here, where was Goku, Hakkai and Gojyo? What happened with Nataku? Sharak? The goal of the journey west had been so close, so close and now so fucking far away. With a frustrated grumble he breaks meditative posture to pick up a rock and throw it at the sea.

“ FUCK!! “ it was brutish, and didn’t help his situation in the slightest. But what the hell else could he say? This fucking sucked.
