Vs 2-3: I like how Paul was a tent maker and could take his work with him. I also like how when he stayed with Aquila and Priscilla he helped them work. Perhaps it was his way of building a relationship with them? Vs 6: What does it mean when Paul "shook out his clothes in protest"? I checked Bible.cc and it said it means he was shaking off the guilt of the Jews condemnation. It's similar to "shaking the dust off your feet". Vs 12: What is a proconsul? It's like a governor. Vs 17: My Bible notes say that many people believe Sosthenes became a Christian as referenced to in 1 Corinthians 1:1. How cool is that to be beaten because people were angry at Christians, but through the Lord's awesome ways, later choose to be apart of that same community.
