there is something particularly enchanting and stupefying about international law, isn't there? in how a tourist has no rights, but plenty enough. a rejection of property, but acceptance of responsibility. and thus, yufi finds easy possession of [international] drivers license and boba alike: but the names are where the similarities end. for there is no expectation or opportunity to practice; no, yufi is expected to drive around these scrambling pavements the same as any other ! and perhaps, masked behind tinted windows, there are others who share the same predicament.
there is much reason to ponder why traffic can be so congested, collision is so common, and why there is many a pedestrian who would choose to simply walk an indefinite amount of distance to one's destination.
parking was promised, and yufi has always been a sucker sensitive to those who keep their word. besides, it has been some time since they last met, and there is much to be discussed, even over a semblance as brief as a 60-minute boba break. some instances cannot be recreated over social media, after all.
" calum, is this it? " thumb swipes over holographed letters, then snaps a picture of indistinct hospital sign, the words EMERGENCY ROOM boldly written in vermillion lettering. " come out in five. " sent!
a starter for @tenderpulsive !
