#tenderloins

Inspired by this song, I came up with a brand new Hollina stand alone story. What do I mean by stand alone? It’s not a brand new AU like the college or high school AUs; it’s a story of its own with some things similar to the usual Hollina AUs, but with enough differences to not be alike the other AUs.

I’ve already written the entire story board for it last night, so here’s a summary/teaser for the story. If you click Keep Reading down below it’ll include heavy spoilers. Read at your own risk ;)

Holli works as a stripper at her mother’s strip club, Tenderloins. But a new club, and brothel, has opened up only a block away. The owner, Bill Sykes, propositions Holli to become the main star of his club, but she easily turns him down.

Not long after, Holli runs into a sweet, young girl named Lina, the picture of a happy, naive hothouse flower, and starts growing feelings for her. There’s only one problem;

Lina is Sykes’ daughter. And he has no problem using his daughter to force Holli to work for him.

“a very nietzschean fish, i believe were your words.” will doesn’t look up from the trout he’s plating in the low light--rustic, served with lemon and capers over green beans and rice. typically hannibal cooks, now that they’ve both recovered enough to stomach more than chicken soup, and this reversal could almost be seen as an act of gratitude--at least if they didn’t both know better. 

there’s something satisfying about living in hannibal’s domain, stealing his skin and making it his own. it’s an indulgence he’s never fully allowed himself to appreciate. 

“whatever is done for love always occurs beyond good and evil,” he quotes, a glint in the blankness of his eyes as he pours a glass of wine for them both. it’s rich and red from california, both due to his own preference and in direct rebuke to hannibal’s old world sensibilities. there’s a smile tugging at the edge of his mouth when will takes his seat.
