Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 2 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 cup milk. 2 large eggs. 2 tbsp melted butter. 1 tsp vanilla extract. Oil for frying. Powdered sugar for dusting.
Instructions: Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a mixing bowl. Mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a different bowl. Mixing until just combined, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. It's okay to have some lumps; don't overmix. 350F 175C is the ideal temperature for the oil in a deep fryer or large, deep skillet. Load the hot oil with spoonfuls of the donut batter. Fry for two to three minutes on each side, or until golden brown, flipping them over if necessary. After taking the donuts out of the oil, pat dry with paper towels. Dust the donuts with powdered sugar while they're still warm. Warm up these perfectly fluffy doughnuts and enjoy!
