Fun Fact!

The Tenth Doctor’s favorite French phrase, “Allons-y, Alonso!”, is not just something fun he came up with and a name he pulled out of nowhere--it’s actually an informal French phrase playing on the similar-sounding words, essentially translating into, “Let’s go, Daddy-o!”

Its most famous use is in the 1965 French film, Godard’s Pierrot le Fou, where it’s the catchphrase of the main character, Ferdinand.

Hmm. on the topic of video games, I feel as if Ten would also eat up games like Pokemon. Gotta catch ‘em all!

The Pokemon Amie feature in the newer games would be his favorite!

He’d eat up Undertale, oh my goodness. He’d do a pacifist run, and try and get the true ending.

I know that because I just finished watching a playthrough for it right now c’:

Oh, it’s all right if it’s not super-deep! I always love talking about my muse’s habits.

Well, Gallifreyans don’t need to eat or drink as much as humans, or as often. So, it’s common for Ten to forget to eat, sometimes--for a day or so. But, he doesn’t hate to eat. No--quite the contrary. He’s a major foodie. So, whenever he does remember to eat--usually once a day or so--it’s gonna be something good. He’s the kind of bloke who will have a cup of tea, at the least, and maybe a banana, at least once a day, and then eat a bigger meal if he’s feeling any hunger pangs. (Which, with his metabolism and activity levels, he probably will.)

If anything, he’ll eat when his companions eat. So, suffice to say, when he’s companionless, he eats a lot less, as he doesn’t have someone there to remind him to eat. Still, it’s not as if he’s starving himself on purpose; he’ll remember to eat at some point! I’m willing to bet that he’d get hangry, and the TARDIS would remind him to eat something. Or Donna, if she’s there. Donna always can tell when he’s hangry. She won’t let him be hangry.

Meanwhile, based on the A Rose By Any Other Name comics--specifically the first one, in Titan Comics’ Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor comics issue #4, Ten, like the best of us, does stress-eat or sadness-eat, as it’s shown that his room is covered in empty ice cream containers as he mourns Rose. So, if that counts, emotional stress can either cause him to not eat as much, or eat too much, depending on the situation.
