I don't know if there are some implications at all but I wish they explore more on shinichi's addiction to the temporary antidotes (like it's become a joke in a fandom)
like I guess it's a reference to sherlock's addiction to cocaine which is strange cuz the time period back then cocaine is actually a norm there
shinichi is literally a kid that's in a horrible situation who just wants to be in his original body again (not to mention the body dysphoria) and always taking the drug because of it, it's so strange comparing it to a drug that aged poorly to a kid that's addicted to a frickin untested drug that may have a huge health risk
and I don't remember but he took the risk of the antidote anyways despite the fatality risk when he first took it
like isn't the temporary antidotes untested??
I mean the more he takes it the more he's immune to it but I really like it if there are more health risks to it
