the crackling of fire overpowering; the cold breeze coming with the first signs of the night; the chaos sneaking through the silent curves of a stone jungle; the murmur among the darkest alleyways; dirty money growing faster than the rats in the sewer; the wrinkles of a worried mother; adrenaline numbing burnt bloodstreams in such unnatural forms; the sensual whisper of evil taking away all the effort worked by the daylight. seoul is a dangerous place for those who don’t know it, for those who don’t know where their feet can guide them. precisely because it is the house of danger.

of all the gangs that rot in the corners of the capital, the cobras are very known and not named. they aren’t the most famous .. no, but they are definitely the most feared name among the streets of seoul. a family. if you want to differentiate a family from a gang, you just need to look at how its members behave; if they take pride in being who they are and go ahead with that. a symbol. the double-headed serpent drawn anywhere on the body is the natural symbol of the wickedness of those who know the dark corners. no one masters seoul better than the cobras, and even their rulers know this.

but a combat between houses never ends well for either part, and though they are like the armor of the hounds of hell, even the cobras are forced to bow down their heads to thrones that exist for the longest time. an immeasurable debt that doesn’t only involve money, but pride that has been ripped from their throats and left the taste of blood behind. of the trio that commanded the gang, only two remained to collect all their members and pack their bags: it was time to look for another place to call home. shelter.

and that was how the dreaded cobras landed in busan for the very first time —– the fight between local gangs only seemed to instigate their leaders when cars and motorcycles invaded the sheds and gradually remodeled. didn’t happen overnight but as a true cobra knows that their best ability is to be sneaky, the kings and hellcats only knew of the arrival of their newest enemy when the spotlight was directed at them, too busy with their own business to notice about this before. then the spectacle had begun.

cobras, venomous; thirsting for fresh start burning in their eyes; clenched fists, then here to dominate a city that had been living in the dark for a long time and for that they are willing to bring down the two gangs in charge. what remains for the kings and hellcats is to know if the most important thing is to fight an enemy together and have some chance of victory or fight the enemy in separated ways and fall apart standing no chances.

as you can see, a new gang was introduced: the cobras — they are best known in seoul, and are one of the most perverse as well as richer gangs. they are old and have an inexplicable bond between them.

the cobras who started with all the troubles, sending the police to the place where the fight was taking place. the leaders bought these cops to do damage inside —– while they were doing damage outside.

so while chaos happened inside: cars were stolen, destroyed, as well as some of the main meeting points of both gangs too.

both leaders of the kings and hellcats have decided to join forces to send the cobras away, but this is definitely going to be a giant fight. and considering the hellcats leader is currently behind bars, some hellcats are concerned the kings will use this temporary alliance to “take over” the hellcats.

members may not agree with the decisions of their leaders; but it isn’t advisable to go against that decision. the cobras are seen as a family, and to defeat them they’ll need to have an even stronger bond than the new gang.

THE KINGS are the senior gang and therefore they are much more structured and have rules that are expected to be followed. They don’t appreciate members bringing a focus onto them, as working without a constant fear of getting caught is less stressful than feeling as if law enforcement is breathing down their neck. Because of this, despite the fact the HELLCATS are their rivals, the Leader expects their members to not get into confrontations with those from the other gang, and if they must, at least be smart enough to keep it hush-hush. If the police are called and someone from the KINGS go to jail, it is expected that they keep their mouth shut about affiliation and, rest assured, someone from the KINGS will pay their bail. THE HELLCATS are the new kids on the block, young blood and it shows. They’re not nearly as structures as their counterpart, they thrive off of chaos and the Leader does not keep a tight rope around the necks of their members, whether or not it’s because they do not care to or because it’s an impossible task is up for debate, but despite their wildness, their dynamic seems to work for them. Most recently, they’ve knocked the KINGS off the throne when it comes to street racing and they’re eager to also be crowned champions of the underground fighting world as well, and their cockiness knows no limit. It’s not surprising to spy a HELLCAT trying to bait a KING into a one on one street race or simply a fight because unlike the KINGS, they don’t play by unspoken rules.

It is not against the rules to be on friendly terms with members from opposite gangs, however it is an obvious rule not to feed information to a rival gang no matter how much you think you can “ trust “ them, or participate in fixing races ( losing on purpose in order to ensure a specific gang wins for profit ), however rules can be broken. If caught, one better hope they’ve got in good with the opposing gang because you can be kicked out of your gang, and anything they received will be taken away -- by force, if necessary. Relationships with dancers and escorts from opposing gangs is something both gangs heavily discourage because it is known that more than not, they’re used as not-so-secret informants, and getting in too deep with one can be very dangerous, especially if you are considered a high-up member of the rival gang. Each gang has a NIGHT CLUB they consider their hangout spot, and although members from opposite gangs can visit, it is expected they play by the rules and not start trouble, because they’ll be outnumbered and find no friends. Both gangs have the right to refuse entry of opposite gangs if something important is being discussed, and it’s fair play if someone starts something with an opposite gang member, no matter how petty. It’s their hangout and therefore it’s their rules. MONEY LAUNDERERS will be the owners of said night club, but there is only one nightclub per gang so if you’re muse is a launderer and you’d like their cover-up establishment to be a gang-specific club, let the main know. All other clubs will be NEUTRAL ground and both gangs are expected to treat it as such despite which gang an owner is from. BARS are neutral, LUCKIES in general is not affiliated with any gang or any gang member, and the owner does not give a shit how scary someone looks, he can ( and will ) put anyone in their place if they break NEUTRAL GROUND RULES. Don’t start shit in his bar, you might start something but — rest assured — he will end it.

STREET RACING is done one of two ways, a group event where multiple racers partake, winner’s gang takes all ( and the specific winner takes extra ) or one on one races usually used to settle squabbles, prove who is better, or personal bets. Members of the same gang can also participate in one vs one races to see who their best racer is, but if it causes a problem the Leader will probably bar both parties from racing if they don’t sort it out. If cops show up, a race is called off and everyone is expected to shake off the cops and then return home. If caught by the police, dirty cops are usually able to get racers off with minimum time serves, if not completely, but you more than likely will be taunted by fellow members for being caught whilst everyone else got away. It’s all in good fun, mostly. The HELLCATS have currently taken the throne when it comes to racers, shaking things up for the KINGS. The KINGS are trying to steal back the crown, but it’s proving more difficult ( and frustrating ) than they had first thought.  UNDERGROUND FIGHTS is one vs one fights or one vs one fights against a champion, they keep going until they lose and a new champion is named. Currently, the KINGS seat a champion, but the HELLCATS are trying to change that. Cheating is no permitted, if someone is caught cheating they will be barred from participating, so don’t risk it unless you’re certain you can get away with it. It’s your own fault if you get seriously injured, but there are doctors who help off the clock, but it’s expensive. Once a fight is called off, the winner is expected to STOP, if they do not and it leads to serious injuries, their gang will be forking over the cost to get a back-alley doctor. More than that, said fighter runs the risk of being barred if it is deemed they kept attacking due to personal reasons or a hidden vendetta. BETS are handled by bookmakers, and members are allowed to participate in betting. Of course you run the risk of pissing off your fellow gang members, however you are more than free to bet on someone from an opposing gang -- but it’s not kept secret. Don’t expect to “ betray “ your gangs fighter and keep it hush-hush. Anyone who loses and does not pay up will be dealt with by collectors, and the way they go about getting owe dues is entirely up to them. Extensions can be granted, but it’ll come at a hefty interest rate and it’s up to any given collector to grant one. Gangs are not supposed to get involved with a collectors duty, but they can pay in someone’s place. Gang members who impede on collectors are subject to being dealt with by the collectors gang, and the other gang is not supposed to get involved any further. RELATIONSHIPS that are serious are not looked at kindly if between rival gang members, which is why most relationships consisting of two people from different gangs are hidden, and those that are brought to light, members tend to pull away from those involved because trust becomes an issue as well as loyalties. A member is suppose to be loyal first to their gang, and when they’re involved with someone from a different gang it gets called into question whom they would choose over the other. Do not be surprised if you’re ostracised from important discussions and don’t be surprised if a Leader gives you an ultimatum. Because of the possibilities, it’s very much encouraged these sorts of relationships be kept secret. However, if it’s nothing but sex and it’s obvious that’s all it is, usually it’s overlooked. Still, it’s probably better to not make it known. Relationships between to members of the same gang is, of course, perfectly acceptable.
