In the end, itâs always the KINGS and HELLCATS battling it out tooth to nail, fallen fighters from lesser known gangs and those who ride solo tending to their wounds after vicious defeats; itâs inevitable, really, no oneâs ever been skilled enough to take down a KING in this make-shift circle, but the HELLCATS are out for more than just the title of best drivers; they want to dethrone the KINGS completely, and that makes this match-up a thrilling spectacle.
Place your bets, because tonight is going to be one helluva fight.
You know what they say, â the bigger they are, the harder they fall. â
WELCOME to TEMPOHQâs first event , phase one !!Â
The strangest thing was the fact Bang Hwan was hosting the fight underneath his night club, HIGHWAY. Considering past dealings with the man never turned out advantageous for either the KINGS or HELLCATS, his almost abrupt interest in the ongoing underground fights could have been seen as odd, but any trepidation in regards to him were swept away when the amount of won he was willing to invest became known, both leaders ( Lee Gyeong and Choi Sanghun ) easily agreeing that his change in heart was natural; heâd finally wised up to the amount of cash flow that could be gained by dabbling into the darker avenues of Busan.
In the end, the opportunity to expand the market was just too tempting to turn noses up at someone who had previously spoken ill of said gangs; with the help of Hwan, both gangs could see the margins for bets skyrocket, reaching a wealthier crowd and, perhaps, recruiting bodies that waste their breaths on the mundane.
And so, a previous ban on those affiliated with the KINGS and HELLCATS have been lifted for the first time in years, host Bang Hwan cheerful and amiable in regards to those he once scoffed at; his previous attitude fresh in both members minds, but Gyeong and Sanghun have both instructed their members to remain respectful and to not cause a scene with other gangs or those affiliated with Hwan. Needless to say, members donât always listen, but both expect their words to be taken seriously.
For this night only dancers and bartenders have been permitted to work at HIGHWAY should they wish, Hwan smart enough to know that the majority of the patrons will more than likely be more familiar with those they see frequently rather than his personal staff; and heâs out to make a good first impression.
The fights are to take place underneath the nightclub, a vast basement that used to host fights back in the day, but closed after an unfortunate accident back when fights were so heavily regulated, and a fighter could get away with pummeling their opponent to death with nothing but a minor scolding. Needless to say, rules for fighting are to be respected; no cheating, no hitting below the belt and no funny business. Itâs not against the rules, but choking an opponent out ( although a skill in and of itself ) is boring and the crowd doesnât like it, so itâs encouraged to make matches as bloody and wild as they can get. A crowd loves to be entertained. If a referee calls a fight, the winning fighter is expected to stop throwing down. Failure to follow orders will result in their disqualification, and even if their opponent is knocked the fuck out, they will be crowned the winner.
Betting is usually conducted by the KINGS and HELLCATS bookkeepers, however as a sign of respect , Bang Hwan will be handling all bets and those interested in betting are expected to go through him. If a bookkeeper is given funds for betting, they are expected to then give it all to Hwan. Anyone interested in betting must have the total amount they are betting on and they are expected to fork it over, neither the KINGS nor HELLCATS are taking IOUâs tonight considering Hwan is in charge.
The fights will be started off with rookies and newcomers and will end with household names; prize money varies depending on the match-ups.Â
FIGHT NIGHT will run from 12 / 05 to 12 / 09 and will be split into three phases ; the first being the kings vs hellcats ; members that are fighters are free to thread out actual fights, preparations before fights and after fights ; but any fight threaded will not be the last fight and it is encouraged you keep your muse around for the last phase, though the last phase will be the conclusion to the event as a whole !!
For those whom have little interest in the underground fights, thereâs plenty for your muse to do !! The fight will be taking in the vast basement of HIGHWAY ; Hwan will be providing drinks and music above, and although fights above ground are not permitted, Hwan is a bit too busy collecting money and stepping away to talk with someone on his phone to pay enough attention to whatâs going on.

TEMPOHQâs first event has officially ended !!Â
Below the cut is some information on those behind the raid, and a new addition to the ongoing conflict between the Kings and the Hellcats ; a twist that will complicate the two gangs relationship further.
the crackling of fire overpowering; the cold breeze coming with the first signs of the night; the chaos sneaking through the silent curves of a stone jungle; the murmur among the darkest alleyways; dirty money growing faster than the rats in the sewer; the wrinkles of a worried mother; adrenaline numbing burnt bloodstreams in such unnatural forms; the sensual whisper of evil taking away all the effort worked by the daylight. seoul is a dangerous place for those who donât know it, for those who donât know where their feet can guide them. precisely because it is the house of danger.
of all the gangs that rot in the corners of the capital, the cobras are very known and not named. they arenât the most famous .. no, but they are definitely the most feared name among the streets of seoul. a family. if you want to differentiate a family from a gang, you just need to look at how its members behave; if they take pride in being who they are and go ahead with that. a symbol. the double-headed serpent drawn anywhere on the body is the natural symbol of the wickedness of those who know the dark corners. no one masters seoul better than the cobras, and even their rulers know this.
but a combat between houses never ends well for either part, and though they are like the armor of the hounds of hell, even the cobras are forced to bow down their heads to thrones that exist for the longest time. an immeasurable debt that doesnât only involve money, but pride that has been ripped from their throats and left the taste of blood behind. of the trio that commanded the gang, only two remained to collect all their members and pack their bags: it was time to look for another place to call home. shelter.
and that was how the dreaded cobras landed in busan for the very first time ââ the fight between local gangs only seemed to instigate their leaders when cars and motorcycles invaded the sheds and gradually remodeled. didnât happen overnight but as a true cobra knows that their best ability is to be sneaky, the kings and hellcats only knew of the arrival of their newest enemy when the spotlight was directed at them, too busy with their own business to notice about this before. then the spectacle had begun.
cobras, venomous; thirsting for fresh start burning in their eyes; clenched fists, then here to dominate a city that had been living in the dark for a long time and for that they are willing to bring down the two gangs in charge. what remains for the kings and hellcats is to know if the most important thing is to fight an enemy together and have some chance of victory or fight the enemy in separated ways and fall apart standing no chances.
as you can see, a new gang was introduced: the cobras â they are best known in seoul, and are one of the most perverse as well as richer gangs. they are old and have an inexplicable bond between them.
the cobras who started with all the troubles, sending the police to the place where the fight was taking place. the leaders bought these cops to do damage inside ââ while they were doing damage outside.
so while chaos happened inside: cars were stolen, destroyed, as well as some of the main meeting points of both gangs too.
both leaders of the kings and hellcats have decided to join forces to send the cobras away, but this is definitely going to be a giant fight. and considering the hellcats leader is currently behind bars, some hellcats are concerned the kings will use this temporary alliance to âtake overâ the hellcats.
members may not agree with the decisions of their leaders; but it isnât advisable to go against that decision. the cobras are seen as a family, and to defeat them theyâll need to have an even stronger bond than the new gang.
and lastly, the cobras are available for application! they were included in our plot and now the rp revolves around three gangs.
There was a promise that the nights activities would go down as something memorable, but most took those words as meaning the fights would be entertaining and the bets hefty; and the fights certainly are good, bloody and chaotic and a bursting crowd eagerly cheering on two peopleâs mutual destruction as fists clash with flesh and bone. But thereâs something else that goes down that makes the night unforgettable; wrapped in flashing lights and a cacophony of sirens as police officers rushed the building, most exists blocked off and a number of faces lead out in handcuffs and wounds they hadnât entered the building with.
Thereâs a strange calmness to Bang Hwan.
Itâs as if the raid was entirely set-up from his end.
WELCOME to TEMPOHQâs first event , phase two !!
Intoxication buries itself in the depths of most individuals whom decide drinking is their best option at fun, encouraged by the â surprisingly â amiable Bang Hwan, a number of drinks given out freely as he looks on smiling as patrons he once claimed to have held a strong distaste for. Everything seemed to be on the mend, a fight night hosted at a well-established club and in hindsight, his behavior should have been looked at with a more keen eye, however with Gyeong and Sanghun far too interested on making more money and expanding their reach, telltales signs were ignored in favor of possibilities.
Several hours before closing time, patrons are keyed in on the fact someone is causing destruction outside, but those who go to check it out do not return. Before further inspection can be done, police officers storm the building and block exits; roughly arresting members of kings and hellcats, but, surprisingly, ignoring certain unaffiliated individuals whom some might notice are not familiar faces, at all. Explanations are demanded, itâs a known fact the Kings and Hellcats have bought the majority of the police presence in their areas, and raids were something that were not suppose to happen.
Those lucky enough to escape the police are not any luckier once they reach the outside, cars and motorcycles are trashed, tires slashed, windows shattered, body work dented and scuffed â if not entirely stolen off the property. That is not the police doing, and some members of both sides might assume itâs the other gangâs work at hand, but considering everyoneâs vehicles are in the same state â or missing â a conclusion can easily be made that this is the work of someone else. And despite the feuds between the two gangs, nothing like this has ever happened because regardless, theyâre the top dogs.
Regardless, the only thing anyone can try to do is avoid getting arrested, or deal with the consequences if they canât avoid that. Despite the fact these two gangs have been at odds, they might fight thereâs no one else they can depend on both their sworn rivals. After all, when the cops are involved, â the enemy of my enemy is my best friend â rings a little bit too true.
FIGHT NIGHT will run from 12 / 05 to 12 / 12 and will be split into three phases ; the first phase having been the kings vs hellcats , this second phase is titled know thy enemy. Although police are currently in the building , there are a lot of people inside the club and therefore escape is possible , but a lot of arrests will certainly be made. Itâs hard to stick in groups because of the amount of panic , and members from both gangs more than likely will find themselves having to work with those from the opposing gang â whether that be friend or foe. Regardless , itâs advised difference be put aside otherwise the likelihood of an arrest is more likely.
Threads pertaining to phase one can be continued and new threads can be plotted , or old threads can diverge in order to include phase two , or this phase can simply be used as a plot devise for when the event ends ! Muses can be arrested , charges will not be outstanding and release will happen quickly , so if youâd like your muse detained â itâs totally up to you ! Cars and motorcycles can be damaged and stolen , but the extent â if at all â that includes is , again , up to you ! It is very obviously an organized attack directed at both sides , however some might assume itâs some elaborate ruse played by the kings / hellcats.
The biggest surprise dealt is Choi Sanghun , leader of the Hellcats , is arrested that night , and he will not be released as quickly as his members. Thereâs no back-up leader , so expect things to be chaotic considering the loyalty and trust said members had in him. Some outside the Hellcats might take his absence as a sign of weakness , and a snake lurks in high grass looking to especially take advantage of that fact.
I think the format the event is posted with is not veiwable with this theme, so anyone having trouble viewing it can go HERE and see it !! Sorry for any issues that may have cropped up !!
