The album by the band, hailing from the island of Spiekeroog, continues their tried-and-tested formula of brutal death metal blended with thrash, doom and cinematic elements. "Dreadspawn Dominion" is not merely another chapter in an already impressive discography, but the point at which all the band’s strengths converge: the frenzy of their early works, the increasingly sombre atmosphere of their recent albums, more varied songwriting, and the added power of the new line-up. TEMPLE OF DREAD have delivered their most cohesive, powerful and enduring work to date.
