heehoo because I’ve been enabled to here are some random facts/thoughts I have about Drillburst and Overlord

For someone who has such a strong vendetta towards him, Overlord doesn’t actually know Drillburst’s name. He only refers to him as 803, as that was his prisoner number.

It’s likely they would’ve interacted before their fight in G9, such as partaking in a hunting excursion around the immediate area of the prison. Not much would’ve been said, at least in Drillburst’s case. He saw him kill another Decepticon in front of everyone

This might be known already but Overlord is the one who shattered Drillburst’s left optic

ooooh this would probably never happen in canon but I’ve always had the image of overlord using mnemosurgery on drill as a little angsty adventure… to find out who exactly this mech he despises so much is and how he got here.

I have an au with @voiidfriend and @doodlebugsandbumblebees called Tellyverse that, long story short, involves Drillburst making adversaries with an evil Teletraan AI who tries to kill him by pinging old wartime enemies, including Overlord, of his location. This promptly results in Overlord killing everyone else who dares lay a servo on Drill, but before he can do him in, Drill strikes a deal with him to help take down the AI first. This results in them (alongside Kit’s oc Arrowarc) having to work together and it’s as hectic as it is agonizing for both of them. Overlord has his target in his sights but can’t do anything and Drillburst has his would be killer joined at his hip lightheartedly joking about how painful his death will be

Overlord kills everyone else because he sees that only he has a right to kill Drillburst. like he has to. its part of the whole “deal” they struck way back when and it needs to be fulfilled. It is like scary how entitled overlord feels to Drillburst’s life, certainly not the sign of someone desperate. So there are many a crack idea where Drillburst will get hurt like stubbing his toe, and Overlord sensing his agony from 500 miles away bursts through the front door like “WHO DID THIS i’ll kill them. tell me who did this 803 i will kill them”

I need to draw more tellyverse related stuff because the amount of stupid shit they get into is hilarious. I feel bad for Arrowarc above all else
