“Ugh...”  Lyra groans, setting down the box to take a breather for a second.  “Why is this so heavy...”

There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of money at Cataclysm, so instead a barter system seems to have been set up; it usually means manual labor from the individuals hanging around in return for items, like fabric.  Such as the fabric for a few pieces of lolita fashion, which happens to “cost” transporting about thirty boxes worth of items, according to some demon or another.  She forgot its name at the tenth box and hopes she won’t have to ask again later.

She can’t exactly fault any of the demons for any of this, and the trade-off is quite fair in her opinion.  But her arms ache and it’s tiring, so she complains internally anyways.

10. Shoulder

She tripped on her own feet. Her own god damn feet. The best bounty hunter, known for her strength and grace just tripped on her feet. To make it worse she just kissed this poor girl shoulders in the process then fell down more trying to pull back.

Summary: Clarissa bumps into Adnunt while searching for a place to shower. Adnunt offers to show her the way to the gym, and the two make polite conversation about the Lodge, the other guests, and Adnunt’s own life.

Adnunt took note of her skepticism and the culture shock she experienced, but made no comments about it as he held a friendly conversation with her instead. The two exchange contact details and part ways upon reaching the gym.
