Teleseen - Lucia EP - Slow Music Movement is not only a great radio show, but also a record label

Music like this is a breath of fresh air. Teleseen has a knack of making tracks that fall between standard genre aesthetics, but more importantly sound incredibly fresh. In a world where many stick to tried and tested samples, beats and rhythms, it’s great to hear a producer trying to push different buttons. Teleseen is Gabriel Cyr, who lives between Rio de Janeiro and New York, and this EP feels like the work of someone who spends time soaking up different cultures and influences. The lead cut Lucia is a wonderful loose limbed groover, with starry eyed synths, cool keys and supporting beats. Second up is Bronze By Gold, where shimmering keys and funkified percussion do the talking. We must thank The Slow Music Movement for releasing this genuinely exciting EP!
