Alysia: "Like, a secret society of the undead?" Anna: "No, like World of Warcraft. Someone just ninja-looted a sword he’s been farming for six weeks. He is mentally drafting a four-page callout post for the realm forums. He isn’t going to kill anyone tonight, Alysia. He’s just going to rage-quit and pout in his crypt."

Anna: "Alysia, please." Alysia: "I didn't say anything!" Anna: "You didn't say anything, but you have had the exact same synth-pop chorus looping in your head for three hours and because my psychic shields are down, I have it looping in my head. Either sing the bridge or think about something else. I am begging you." Alysia: "I don't know the bridge! That's why I'm stuck on the chorus!"

Anna: "Okay, target is in the VIP lounge. He's tall, wearing a velvet jacket, and he's thinking about… wait."

Alysia: "What? Is he thinking about bolting?"

Anna: "No. He’s thinking about the Roman Empire. Like, a lot. Wait, he was in the Roman Empire. Oh my god, he's mentally complaining about the cobblestones in 44 BC. He won't shut up about aqueducts."
