“Y’ powers, mon ami, y’ powers!” Gambit laughed. “Boy, if Remy coul’ peek int’ his lover’s min’ as he’s pleasin’ them...” He whistled softly. “Tellin’ y’, if dey say Remy a good lover now...” He grinned cheekily.

“That’s...No.”

“Has anyone taught you how to block other telepaths from reading your mind? it’s a useful trick to have.”

    Suddenly realizing what she was doing, reddening, she let go of him, her smile still firmly in place and clasped her hands behind her back.  “ And hugs are best given when the giver is very happy, ” she joked, trying to cover her embarrassment.

Stood SILENTLY in the doorway of the Professor’s office, Joseph lifted his arms, crossing them tightly over his chest as TENSION grew between his brows. “You looked TIRED, Charles.” The mutant clone commented with some amount of concern, taking a step inside, gaze never moving from the telepath for a single moment. “When was the last time you had a good FULL night’s sleep?”

Hissing through her teeth, she nodded as she looked down at her leg, a long cut on her shin.  It wasn’t deep but it was long and stung like mad.  “Go ahead,” she replied, trying not to cry but failing.  Wiping away tears, she half-heartedly joked, “I can read minds but I can’t even keep my own on track to keep me from being a clumsy idiot.”  In other words, she tripped and cut her leg open on something.  A rock?  The ledge?  Did it really matter?

“h-hey, i um--- i wanted to say, happy birthday.” her hands extended towards him with a simple present, wrapped by herself, containing small and multiple chocolates she managed to make without him noticing.
