We warned the world... they didn’t listen to the Congolese people! We told Africans about our plight... they didn’t understand the challenge of the Congo! I know this Sunday December 23 will be engraved in the hearts of the Congolese as the day they rose up against a regime backed by western multinationals, western government and Rudy Giuliani. Watching this video gave me chills... the man at the end of the video clearly states to the police officer that he is ready to die and implores him to shoot him dead. I’ve never seen this level of anger... and I know the sentiment is shared across the Congo. May be it is not a mistake for the Kabila regime to postpone the elections after being delayed for two years already. May be this is the spark that will give people the courage to face the brutal repression to come this Sunday. Let it be known to the world that the women of the Congo are the ones making it happen for the revolution. Tonight at the University of Kinshasa, the female students were those who are leading the way to honor the dead on their campus... they went to the men dormitories, woke the men up, and got everyone on campus again around the bonfire. This is happening right now at UNIKIN ... Five days of resistance and still going! The Congolese police made a huge mistake killing two students on the college campus. Right now on the #UNIKIN campus, another bonfire led by students and they are chanting “tokolemba te tokolemba te ata ba bomi biso, tokolemba te!” meaning “we won’t give up... even if you kill us... we won’t give up!” I have a feeling the unpredictable will start from the University of Kinshasa... I got this feeling that revolution is in the air.
