I'm in a thinline mood today apparently (thanks to you for making it worse @hotwireamplification! π)
2021 #Fender Ltd #Blackguard #Thinline #Tele #Relic spotted at @folkwaymusic
Info from the Folkway website:
"One of the most exciting Telecasters weβve had through in recent memory, this Limited Edition Custom Shop Blackguard Thinline Tele Relic is a seriously happening hybrid of a β51 Nocaster and a Tele Thinline. From the Nocaster the guitar borrows its deep 1950 U-shaped maple neck with .940β depth at the 1st fret and .970β at the 12th, hand-wound 50-51 Blackguard pickups and modified wiring, black single-ply pickguard, 3-saddle bridge, knurled knobs, vintage Kluson style tuners, and vintage silver Tele logo. From the late 1960βs Thinline, the guitar borrows its chambered semi-hollow body and F-hole and its pickguard style and control layout. The Custom Shop designers threw in the flamey AA-grade quartersawn 4 bolt neck with 7.25-9.50 compound radius and 47/95 fretwire, and the super-light ash body with relicβd finish and hardware. Itβs quite a package, weighs in at 6.4 lbs, and it checks every box imaginable.
The guitar is barely a year old and shows no βwearβ. We realize thatβs hard to qualify, but I think youβre following. Set-up in our shop with 10-46 and standard action.
With original Custom Shop case, COA, floor traveler, and case candy."
