Tekkadon, a type of donburi, is a Japanese rice dish topped with thin-sliced raw tuna sashimi.

I had no holidays for 3 weeks. Lunch was Tekkadon (Tuna Sashimi Rice Bowl) on Sunday.

I visited my ex-neighborhood in Tokyo last week and had this beautiful tuna bowl for lunch. It’s been eight years since I moved out Tokyo. Many things have changed, but there are still many things that stay as they used to be.

中山商店で、がぶがぶっと呑んで、「まいばすけっと」で買いもん。 豚コマ買った豚汁でも作ろかなあ、と思ってたら、マグロのぶつ切りが目に入った。277円。となりのは277円で30%オフ。「メシは残りがあったよな。そうだ、米朝丼にしよ」とメニュー決定。 米朝師匠の食べ物の描写、大好きなんだけど、中でもいちばん好きなのが、「まんじゅうこわい」に出てくる丼ものの描写。炊き立ての白飯＋浅草海苔の上等＋鯛の良いところのブツ＋玉子の黄身＋本わさび。僕が持ってる録音では、醤油をかけるシーンはないし、玉子の黄身は五、六個。これはいくらなんでもアレなんでアレンジしてる。白飯＋刺身＋卵黄＋わさびの丼を「米朝丼」と呼んでる。 マグロの他に玉子と大葉買って、家に帰って、ドンブリ飯の上に細切れにした大葉載せて、熊本ホシサン醤油でヅケにしたマグロ載せて、真ん中に卵黄。ねりわさび。「まいばすけっと」経由、まな板包丁を使わない絶品料理の完成。 間違いなく美味い。「米朝丼」、サイコー。 #桂米朝 #まぐろ #海鮮丼 とは呼ばせない #米朝丼 #beichodon #america_korea_rice_bowl #tuna #kaisendon #tekkadon #tekka #ironfire #ironfirerice #wasabi #bigleaf #大葉 #落語 (経堂)
