Well, this hadn’t gone well...at all. Minutes ago, her new warp drive had malfunctioned again. What as with that new power source conduction system? It kept going haywire every few seconds!

Nothing but her bottom half stuck out of the bottom of the damaged ship, a very very small toolbox next to her side, the lombax sticking her tongue out in concentration as she screwed another bolt.

Suddenly, there was a very small ‘crack!’ sound that echoed in the air, and it wasn’t the ship. A audible yelp escaped the captain as she felt the pressure on her tail, causing her to actually jolt forward and hit her head on the ship’s stomach, the ship bumping from the impact, “Watch the tail!”

She felt her tail let go, and Tobi slid out from underneath the vehicle, bruise on her forehead and the tip of her tail all crooked now but she was more focused on getting the soot and grease from off her face before she paused at the sight, her ears perking up a bit.
