When the both of you arrive at your apartment, your wet clothes drip all over your expensive tiles, making you cringe slightly. You tell him to stay right there and that you are getting a change of clothes for him. You then run into your room, grab a fluffy towel and a set of clothes, run back and hand them to him.

or i guess you can just change here since wwere both guys an it doesnt really matter but i guess if you dont wwant to... 

You trail off when you notice him smirking at you and blush.

You stomp back into your bedroom in a huff, blushing madly. God he makes you so flustered. You change into more comfortable clothing and try to dry off your hair to the best of your abilities. You fix the both of you some tea; when you bring it out, hes already changed and sitting on the couch looking all awkward and lanky in your too-small clothes. Its so adorable you just want to cuddle him and give kisses all over his face. 

Then you notice.

Hes holding your secret One Direction picture that you hid under your couch.

Arguments have always been a complicated thing between the two of you. You're either always in one, calling each other names and shouting, or making up from one, being overly nice, affectionate.

But those arguments were usually over stupid stuff, like who's better at Halo or who should do the dishes that week.

Sex... how do you apologize for sex? Because, really, you don't regret it - from what you remember, it felt really good, and the two of you were completely happy with each other. And it's been a really long time since the two of you had been 100% happy together. But you know that was his first time, too... 

You recall your first time. It was with a girl, actually. You girlfriend in 10th grade, Terezi Pyrope. She's blind, and you're pretty sure that was the only reason she was able to stand you. You were a fucking mess of a sophomore.

And the two of you did it at school, actually. After school got out, in the band room. It was awkward and messy and you had no fucking clue what you were doing. She broke up with you the day after.

But having sex with Sollux... that was completely different. This is someone you've known for years, someone you've trusted everything to, someone who's seen every bit of you, all your flaws, and has accepted all of that. 

And you were scared. 

But that gave you no right to yell at him like you did. So as you approached the front door, mentally scolding yourself, you knocked a few times before bringing out your key.

"Hey, Sollux? I'm coming in, okay?"
