so i really really really wanna talk about coil because i sympathize with him so so much and i will IMPLODE if i don’t talk about this like NOW. sorry in advance, i really like going down rabbit holes like these.

he’s fucking tragic.

like just in general.

being closed off emotionally to your friends, feeling the need to shut yourself out, and feeling the need to be independent.

working tirelessly just to make yourself stronger, using the equivalent of basically i’d consider steroids for your gear.

so, when you crack and break, literally EVERYTHING crumbles. EVERYTHING.

coil’s a walking, living ticking time bomb that if he doesn’t get help, he’s setting himself up to crash and burn. to FAIL.

which is what he’s avoiding in the first place. 

that’s the thing. that’s the thing about this guy. he’s setting himself up to crash and burn one day.

yeah, it works, but… it’s NOT sustainable. there’s only so many times you can steal and only so many times you can tell people to fuck off before you just… can’t. coil will DIE trying to sustain his way of life right now. 

don’t even get me started on coil 2.0. just don’t.

also i want to talk about something:

this. THIS is what gets me. coil having an “ avoidant-attachment “ style, who refuses to let his guard down to anyone. avoidant-attachment style inphernals have a deep-seated fear of emotional intimacy. 

he’s got something called “ insecure avoidant attachment. ”

if someone has this attachment style, they tend to avoid emotional intimacy and are very independent and content being alone. they tend to be emotionally distant, and dislike asking for help.

and typically, it’s seen when a newspawn has a caregiver/caretaker that emotionally neglects, OR, is overly critical.

and wolf is basically that. 

there are so so so many fucking examples such as THIS:

so yeah!! this guy is the ultimate soup of spawnhood/caretaker problems and being overly independent and takes risks just to avoid the prospect of being a failure to friends and family!! and also not wanting to emotionally rely on anyone like at all.
