keep thinking of an horror idea where a ch in the vr game becomes more and more sentient and starts to really really like you and one day they end up phasing through the screen and become corporeal but since you're wearing the headset you can't really see the character actually. like you think it's probably phantom feels from being in vr a lot but eventually you get the sense that there's someone there but the character doesn't want you to take the headset off to see them so they just reassuring that it's just their imagination
