What do you usually do whenever you are thinking of something, or conceptualizing a series of ideas? I usually doodle, make color swatches, or paint flowers. At the moment I'm juggling some decisions on what to paint for a series of projects that is coming up. The easiest, and probably the subject that I enjoy doing the most are plants and flowers. I still wonder why they are collectively called still-life sometimes (because they are living things, oh well). Another bunch of random thoughts there.
