@techkitten​ - Alexys, my love, my darling. Decided to send this now so I could spend some proper time with it before the chaos of the holidays hits tomorrow. It should come as NO SURPRISE to you that being your SS was an absolute joy because YOU are an absolute joy. I adore you OOC, and as you damn well know, I love your penelope so so so much. But getting to do this, getting to spend time going through and reading so many of your posts and really getting to live with your writing and stuff for the last few weeks was so wonderful and only made me love her even more. I hope we can continue writing things forever and ever and I hope you have a Holiday season as wonderful as you are. I’m so glad this silly old long dead fandom brought us together.  - @j-reau​

@techkitten​  -  Alexyssss !! It’s me I’m back. I took a long walk through your blog today AND your old blog like the FBI agent that I am and to be real honest, I could just get lost reading all of your stuff. I already told you I love your penelope but this was my first time taking a long, hard look at your dialogue specifically, pulling it out and letting it stand all on its own. And I just love it. It made me love your portrayal all that much more because it doesn’t even need the inner monologue and narration for me to know exactly how well you know your muse. I know this is such a weird and small and not complicated thing but I loved when you had her say “hey---hey” in a reply, softly to someone, because for some reason that double hey just was a perfect penelope-ism for me. One that I never would have realized was so much part of her arsenal until I read it and her voice just was there. But some of my very favorite Penny lines of yours were “i can’t remember, did we go over whether or not phone sex was off limits by army standards” and “i hope you all know i’m getting departmentally mandated trackers implanted in all of you.” I especially loved that write up about her reaction after 15x05. The thing that sticks out to me is really how you balance her playful, flirty, occasionally out of line stuff with true earnestness and compassion. I never feel like she’s being flirty just to do it, or that her nicknames and jokes overtake her emotion. Her emotions are still so real and raw underneath her quips and her very Penelope vocabulary and I know that can’t be an easy balance to manage but boy, do you ever. When I have a second, I’m making you a real present with my favorite line on your blog from Penelope to Emily: “you gave me hope first , i’m just returning the favor, babe.” Thanks for punching me right in the heart. Stay awesome, baby girl !
