This is my first official day of doing stuff for Grad School. The start of classes and Money Day are next Monday. Five days to go. I’m not completely broke, so that’s helpful. I managed to get out of bed at nine. the orientation for grad school starts at 12:30.
My uniform will be nice pants and a funny shirt. Today, It’s the expensive black pants mom bought me for my thesis presentation and a grey shirt with a trex holding one of those grabber things and saying “I’m unstoppable.” The whole reason I’m going to professional school is so I can make a decent living in casual attire. I’m definitely feeling the tech direction right now for that reason.
I made the most of yesterday by going to Steak n’ Shake and scoping out the mall for a reasonable shopping list for when the money comes. I’m getting the St. Tropez bronzing kit with the exfoliating stuff. That was the mistake with the drugstore crap. Failure to exfoliate. You learn something new every day. In addition to groceries, I’ll also get a sexy date dress and shoes, and the Victoria Beckham red nail polish for Nails Inc in addition to that company’s base coat, top coat and cuticle oil. I’ve been using olive oil, which has worked, but when I can, why not do things properly?
I’m thinking positive that my soulmate is indeed out there. But, I know for a fact it is not the creepy guy with the flock of seagulls haircut who is liking everything on my Facebook. I am under no obligation to speak to those people. Trying to be nice only encourages them. I’ve learned this the hard way.
