WE’RE GOING TO THE FAIR!! And other stories...
I’m starting to feel a bit of worry. I don’t I’ll sell 50 cameras a day.Â
I think...based on some of the feedback I’ve got from two different sources, we may actually sell MORE. Would be awesome, right? I gotta order more cameras and film...(I better make all this start up investment back).
As of right now, SnapShotz is going to the Denver County Fair NEXT WEEKEND!!!! (I have so much stuff to finish...and “A Vertitable Smorgasborg” keeps ringing in my head) AND we’re going to the COLORADO DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL...a week later. Phew.Â
The Dragon Boat Festival wants to do a collaboration with us for a photo frame sticker! Super groovy. Also, one more thing on my to-do list (why oh why did I offer???? Oh yeah, I was trying to sweeten the deal so we could get our application fee knocked down.)
And I’m still working on the kiosk idea. Dad scoffed at the proposal numbers so he’s reviewing everything I have so far (YAY FOR AN ENGINEER IN THE FAMILY!). My buddy Matt is in town and he wants to talk about local manufacturing (please let there be a cheaper option).
In other news, I lost some final files I sent to a client last summer. More like, accidentally deleted them. They were for a video project. I already gave them their finished files but they can’t find them. So they asked me to re-upload the originals. Except I don’t have them. But the fact that they lost their files first isn’t exactly on me. But...I may end up doing a quickie edit project in August just to be nice. Because really, isn’t it better to be nice?
Oh yeah. I got summoned for Jury Duty on July 31. Thank God I’m supposed to be out on holiday that week. So it’s postponed until...after November because I think that’s when my life might start to settle down. (As much as settled down with a Jury Duty Report date already on the calendar...)
(Can I stop using parenthesis now????)
