marie lets out a loud sigh as she drops her forehead to lay in the center of vincent’s chest, hands coming up to wrap loosely ‘round his waist. ‘ m’fine, vince. ’ it was only a half-lie. she’d eaten earlier that day, a whole breakfast cooked for them by alex before he’d left to go do whatever it is he did during the day. she’d never admit it, but she missed him when it was just her at home during the day. marie missed them both when they were gone ( she needed to find a hobby . . . a job, maybe ).
the day had been nothing special, just lonely and so the second vincent had returned from class she’d made no attempts to stop herself from stepping immediately into his arms; heeding the siren call of the warmth his touch guaranteed.
