Last day of the streak! Let's go over the numbers: -I started the streak the day after my (horrible) last half marathon (October 20) -It lasted 75 days, through snow and freezing temperatures and holidays and stressful work days -I covered a total of 197.91 miles (and I wish I had calculated this number before today so I could've hit 200 miles) Now for the qualitative data: I have learned a whole lot over the course of this streak. Primarily the importance of training and that isn't just the schedule of runs. Training includes preparing before and after the run, eating right and hydrating, and getting yourself in the mindset of being a runner, doing the hard thing. It also means knowing what your body is ready for and what it is not. There is so much more I could say but this is insta so instead #running #runstreak #runningwithdixie #easternoregonrunning #teamwr #runnersworldmag #runningmythirties https://www.instagram.com/p/B631L3nJPcfZ9Vb89OifNzSePHKGct9Xuz7xh00/?igshid=sokrlshzn8l3
