So i’m putting two and two together as i now re-read Part 2. Was Connor setting up these two together from the start? Like in his conversation with Reader, he keeps pushing her to admit that she actually liked Chris, phrasing it in that he knows her well enough to know it cant all be hate. Eventually, she does crack and admits she thinks Chris’s hot. Knowing the friendship Connor and Chris shared, even before him and Reader got together, and them being actual neighbors, i bet Chris told Connor about his first encounter with Reader and how she ripped him a new one. So Connor being the sly fox he is figured these two were a match made in heaven and kept pushing them in each other’s direction until it worked.
