Anyhoo there’s something on my mind that’s been driving me crazy the past year or so and so ima rant here about it (sorry not sorry) . As I approach 30 years of life as an unmarried, still renting, non-parent, all I get from family and society in general is pressure. When are you getting married? When are you gonna have kids? Why don’t you settle down already? Why don’t you save up to put a deposit down on a house like a good adult? I feel like I’m tearing my hair out here. SOD OFF! What is this need that people seem to have to force everyone into a stupid box. Buy a house get married have 2.4 kids work a dull job grow old and die. Clearly I do not fit the mould for what a woman at this age is expected to be in any way. I’m happy with this. Not saying these things won’t happen at some point but what’s the big rush?
