Joined the Team Nila family over the weekend at the Team Nila FUNtastic Sport Village at Punggol Waterway Point. The event was one of the activities under the week-long GetActive! Singapore celebrations, where there were many fun games and activities for the young and old – Piloxing, Kinball, Blindfold Bowling and the GetActive! Singapore workout. One amazing fact about the sports festival this year – it is entirely organised by Team Nila volunteers, with the support of the students from the Singapore University of Social Sciences. Thank you everyone for your time and effort in putting together this event. I hope that more organisations will step forward to collaborate with Team Nila on such meaningful projects! #TeamNila #GetActiveSG

I was at CDAC Volunteers Seminar 2017 where Team Nila members shared experiences and interacted with CDAC volunteers. The nature of volunteering opportunities at CDAC and Team Nila may not be exactly the same, but there is always something common that we can share and learn from one another. As part of Project Heart 2016, I joined close to 1,000 Team Nila volunteers to pick up basic but important life-saving skills of CPR and AED. This is a meaningful partnership between Team Nila and Singapore Heart Foundation. Should medical emergencies occur during sporting events, a trained volunteer who is able to render help quickly can save lives. #CPR #AED #TeamNila
