Today marks 2 full years since I had my top surgery! 💪🏼🙌🌱 Yesss!! I had surgery with Medalie in Cleveland, OH, and used coconut oil to massage my freedom lines for the first few months. I'm so grateful for this body, and the comfort and confidence I've gained throughout this process. 💙#FTM #Trans #Transgender #transman #2yearspostop #topsurgery #teammedalie #progress #confidence #comfort #grateful #bodylove #selflove #transandhappy #transandproud #gratefulformybody
Today, I'm here to tell you that Trans people are everywhere and they exist. We're your friends, neighbors, coworkers, classmates, and everyone in between. We have a family, a job, (sometimes even two or three), friends, girlfriends, boyfriends, hobbies, and interests. Before transitioning, I was a terrified, depressed college student, flunking almost all of my classes and on the verge of suicide. I wasn't happy with myself. I wasn't happy with my life. I wasn't happy with the way I was seen and the way people referred to me. But in october 2013, I decided to take the leap and be who I've always been. Sure, I've had struggles since coming out and a few hardships, but it's all worth it because in the end, I'm finally happy. I'm proud to be a son, a grandson, a brother, a boyfriend, a friend, and, most importantly, myself. Today, I am visible for those who can't be. I am visible to be an inspiration for those who have struggled with their identity such as I did in the past. I am a visible to be a form of support, guidance, and a resource such as many transguys have been for me in the past. I am visible because I'm proud and happy to finally be me. #tdov #tdov2017 #transdayofvisibility #transgenderdayofvisibility #transgender #transman #trans #visible #testosterone #transitioning #transition #postop #topsurgery #teammedalie
One year difference, about 5 months post op vs almost 1 year 5 months post op. I’m getting more comfortable with my body, as someone who struggles to gain weight (for various reasons) I am happy with my progress.
1 month post op vs. 6.5 months post op. I’m really happy with my results, and I can’t be more lucky to have the opportunity to have top surgery. My dysphoria has decreased significantly after surgery. While it put me $3,500 in debt, and depressed for the first month... I’m finally at a point where I feel comfortable with my body, and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

10 months post op as of today! I am so happy I am finally getting some chest separation!
Thanks planet fitness for always having good lighting.
Back at the gym 4 days a week for now, until I get more of the tiny house together. I’m feeling good about it, and the progress I’m making. 6.5 months post top surgery.
