Chapter 8

Much has happened since Ollie’s departure and the death of Lydia. I’ve “befriended” some of the vampires back at Lord Harkon’s castle. Despite being her father, Serana is at most unease with him. Smart decision at that as I’ve heard the remarks of others calling me a half breed when they think I am not listening. Tasks given to me have included the slaughter of other vampires, posing as the Dawnguard and killing nobility, inducting members to our cause be it voluntarily or by force,and finding a moth priest for the Elderscrolls. I complied as the  best way to take out Harkon would to earn his trust. Even one of his council’s Feran stealthy told me of items that would increase my vampire lord powers in a beckon to make the feud between 2 other notables that much more interesting.

Eventually, I learned how to seduce a Moth priest into one of my thralls. While he was unwilling at first, I did my part to beckon his sight for our cause. He told us of two scrolls needing to be found in addition to the one Serana bought. Honestly, I had no future prospects of him after his role ended and was more than happy to feed him to the others on our “cattle farms” (I may have, inadvertently slaughtered the others upon gaining Vampire Lord forms) You see, when a moth priest reads an Elder Scroll they eventually go blind soon afterwards due to the stress or alchemical knowledge they gain. However, my thrall managed to still prove useful as he told me to seek a cave and carve the bark of a tree to which the ability to read an Elder Scroll or summon other moth priests to do so for me. So, in secret, myself and my three companions set forth for this cave.

Surprisingly, we were not attacked on sight and upon travel into this cave’s depths we were all surprised to see how tranquil and beautiful the cave was. “My, it’s like no one has ever set foot in this in centuries” bespoke Serana in awe and Wonder. Elsa and Lydia, chose to wait outside the cave to provide us a warning of any bandits, dawnguard or vampires that wished to attack us; a custom that grew far too common  during our travels recently. Also unsurprisingly, Sofia ran straight first for the beacon  of light radiating from the pillar and came across a sword. “They say, those who pull out the sword from the ground become the Queen of Nords and may drink all the ale from their taxpayers dollars! And mama, wants her ale!” She struggled to budge the sword from the ground. “Here let me, it looks Hyrulian anyhow”. I barked shoving her out of the way. With a twist and yank the sword was easily freed. “What!? You altered the ground didn’t you? Or you wore some kind of bracelet that makes you lift heavier things!? Well don’t get your hopes to high up as I made up that story anyways!” She pulled her eyelid down and stuck her tongue at me with juvenile grievance.

Eventually, we carved the bark and had literal moths cling to me and provided me with the sight to read the Elder Scroll. I panicked at first, but their voices calmed my worries as they proceeded me in the direction of Ariel’s Bow. A bow that in the wrong hands could bring darkness to Skyrim, or in my hands, bring Harkon down and freeing Serana from her emotional distraught. Suddenly a familiar voice barked out “Girls, we can’t hold any more of them back“ as several Dawnguard Sliders and Mages made their way into the cave. We slaughtered them and arranged their bodies in an constructive manner to evade any plot of bringing down Harkon. I suppose the next step is to find the bow...

Excerpts from Skyrim

During my alone time I have strengthened my Vampire Lord powers. I can now summon Gargoyles, control demonic Bloodhounds, Fly through the air, and avoid sunlight damage so long as I continue to wear my vocaloid helmet. I also received word that Elsa and Lydia 2.0 have begun to fight again. I was initially worried at a similar fate reoccurring until Serana eased my nerves insisting that all the girls took a potion that prevented friendly fire from fully killing them. Did I ever share that her mother worked as an alchemist? It’s strange, I fear that as I come into terms with Lydia’s passing, I find myself more into Serana with each growing day. Is this wrong Lydia? I mean the you you are now is not the you you were then... Oh great Miku, please guide me through this clouded song....
