Was it almost over year since Daniel de Bourg announced he’ll be doing an original album? Yeah and boy, ‘patiently waiting’ was such an understatement. Everyone from TeamDDB was thrilled, anxious, excited. Checking daily updates in every possible way. But from the time I knew it, the album is HERE! And I’m deliberately listening to it NOW as I’m doing this blog. Hee!

August 25, 2013.  The day the lord has made! Everyone taking screencaps, sharing download links, tweeting, posting, you name it. It was BANANAS! All the love pouring for this man, to his music, he was all worth it. The album is totally legit. If you happen to know Daniel de Bourg already, you know he’ll never disappoint.  And he didn’t. To tell you honestly, London Bread has exponentially exceeded my expectations. I thought I kinda knew what the album was from the snippets Daniel has released but I was totally wrong. It’s not the typical RNB album, not the typical songs, well for me that is. The techno and slow pounding beats, the lingering melody, reverberating runs, DDB’s distinctive and enchanting soul decorated with lavish message and words you just can’t help to admire the hard work he put in creating the entire album.

I’m beyond happy and proud of this man, it was only in 2011 that I happen to stumble on one of his videos and the rest as they say it was history. He’s totally one freakin’ artist and he’s always reaching out to his fans of which you don’t see very often with other artists. Go check him out on the posted links below, and I promise you won’t regret it.
