Sydney | 24 November 2013. Go-Pro-ing with Team 9Lives.

Fairfield | 15 November 2013. Classes at Team 9Lives.
Team training has somewhat quietened down to almost non-existent. That isn't to say that Team 9Lives haven't been hard at work though. The performance team have had a busy schedule and they've been training for their shows practically 24/7, thus leaving the parkour aspect occurring in the classes.
TEAM 9LIVES | all tricks, no treats!
The video deserves it's own post. Enjoy!

Sydney | 31 October 2013. All tricks, no treats! Video.
Some images - behind the scenes of Team 9Lives | all tricks, no treats! video.
Liverpool | 14 November 2013. Big kids.
Team training! With all the performance schedules and exams for school / uni; the team have not been able to get together for a solid parkour training session.
Collimore Park in Liverpool actually has an area dedicated to parkour, so I caught up with Team 9Lives there and took photos of them, being big kids in a big kids playground.
Sydney | 31 October 2013. All Hallow's Eve.
Perhaps it's the nature of things these days, with the internet so readily available, YouTube and the fact that DSLR's are consumer affordable and come equipped with a video function; that emerging cultures such as parkour, freerunning and tricking usually have a videographer/filmmaker (a participant, one that 'knows the ropes') filming their showreels to get their name out there, to show the world what they can do. But it comes to no surprise, as parkour, freerunning, and tricking are considered as creative art forms, that you will find a talented videographer/filmmaker within these groups.
So on All Hallow's Eve, also known by many as Halloween; I tagged alongside Team 9Lives for their Halloween video shoot. The talented filmmaker in question is Ali (Team 9Lives director), who came up with the concept and execution of the day (and we can also now add Make Up Artistry to his portfolio). We also had Simon (class instructor), another talented filmmaker shooting behind the scenes footage and capturing another point of view, Huss (class instructor) operating the Go-Pro footage, Joe (class instructor and Performance Team manager) managing the evening, and Poome (class participant) as make up artist.
It was definitely a physically exhausting day for everyone but I believe that much fun was had during the ordeal event. From the moment I met up with Ali and the team at the beginning to catching the last train ride home, it was filled with non-stop action and antics. You would think that after the exhausting day to evening, that catching the last train ride home would be filled with whispered conversations, silence and sleep but that was definitely not the case at all. That's the beauty of being around this team, the friendships are deep and strong, each individual has something unique that they contribute to make it TEAM 9Lives and there is certainly never a dull moment!
I will post some more images of the day and the link to the video once it's ready. I can't wait to see it.
