I'll try and write a fic about them one day, because they've got quite a lot of lore to unpack 🫡

the general storyline is surrounded around the incident in which team 14 got mistakenly sent on a mission way above their skills (think land of waves kind of arc)

they got ambushed by ninjas way stronger than them, forcing them to flee as fast as they could and fail the mission, as Toushi was persumed dead

the team mourns their lost friend to this day, each of them at a different stage of grief (Kenji being anger, Miyuna bargaining and depression, and Nanko acceptance, even though she tends to come back to denial often)

yet they don't know that the boy is in fact safe and sound, as back then he received help from some mysterious boy
