“ ugh, fuck off, ” he grumbles as he sits up, cracking his neck & flexing his toes. he's not going to thank her, and she probably knows that already. he was too cocky, the itch to fight overriding his need for caution & he certainly almost paid the price. he sighs in annoyance when he realises his legs are still stiff & probably couldn't support his weight. how fuckin' annoying.
