Shinji wasn't acting like it was the end of the world like he'd seen humans do. Humans were such weird creatures. They made all sorts of things for themselves, to make their lives easier. Like cutlery and vehicles. Though he thought of those as rolling death metal death traps.

Discovering elevators had confused him. Why would humans willingly stand inside a rectangular metal box that could plummet them to their demise? Then there was the various technology they had. Smart phones confused him and don't get him started on computers. He knew what a television was thanks to Gin bringing one into Las Noches in the past. It no longer worked but he knew how to use one.

"Sure." Grimmjow liked spending time with or around Ayame. She was easy to talk to and even open up about things with. It was strange. He'd never once thought he needed such a thing, yet here he was. "Maybe we can find some of that sea glass I've heard about." Sea glass was made by lightning strikes from what he knew, though he had no clue what lightning was or how it struck.

He walked in the way he tended to, hands tucked into the pockets of the swim shorts he was wearing. Looking for sea shells was interesting. He only knew what they were by watching humans go around doing it. He'd squat down and uncover a sand dollar. "I think I found one." He'd pick it up and place it on his palm before turning it over with two fingers. He wiped off as much wet sand as he could. Luckily, he was barefoot so he wasn't getting sand in his shoes.

Being gently tugged toward the dance floor wasn't Kensei's idea of fun but it was hard to say no to Ayame. Especially when she smiled at him. He'd always found her pretty cute but he'd never thought to make any sort of move. "I'll try not to step on your feet. I'm not good at this." This being dancing. He was a fighter, that's what he preferred to do, dancing wasn't like that.

The moving done while on the floor with music playing was so different than anything he'd ever done before. Once the music was moving through him his dancing became better. Perhaps he was a natural somehow. The movements were fluid, similar to fighting, but his way of fighting was a lot different. "Like this?" Maybe he wasn't doing it properly but he was starting to enjoy it.
