A closer look at the gorgeous Victoria C&E teacup from yesterday’s post. I’m not normally drawn to the colour yellow, but this cup was just too striking to pass up. This is definitely a statement cup with its marigold yellow background and pebble-like gilding in different size circles. Apparently it’s Mean Girls day (October 3rd) and a Wednesday, and on Wednesday’s we wear pink. So here is a pink teacup from my collection. I love the big blossoms on their plain background; it’s very simple but ultimately striking. The outside of the cup is a little pearlescent as well.
