My JOYgasm of a week
Oh my goodness!
I love so much how simple things in life can make me happy :D
(And, if I'm honest, things that cost as well... :P)
In the last week I:
- watched movies & drank Bombay, tonic & limes, wrapped in blankets, snuggling on the deck with my baby
- bought a tea infuser shaped like a yellow submarine
> (then a gorgeous big clear glass cup & saucer to marvel at infusion!)
- have spent 4 nights & 3.5 days with my baby, that's more than half a week! :O
> sometimes just holding one other (it's so lame) is the best
- got my nose pierced with a diamond stud
> Niagara Falls ensued when I had to open my eyes :/
> apparently, I'm 'a bleeder'
- have already found my wall calender for next year (holy balls)
- received my quill set & now have pretty inks & lovely writing paper & envelopes!!!
> am teaching myself the art of writing with quill & wax seal stamping
- had bacon for breakfast TWICE (and baby spinach sauteed in garlic butter)
- had a friggin' awesome micro-brewery lunch! (Monk in Freo)
- my baby and I added 'bus' to one of our lists...
- finally picked up my new iPod- YAY! Music back on track :D
> plus new earphones AND an extended warranty- take that, Apple!
- got into trouble by buying CK1 :P
- went nuts in Timezone, acted like child & won a bouncy ball for my troubles
- sat in an almost exclusive Korean hair salon because I convinced Tash that the fluff had to come off right then, no more waiting! So what if I couldn't read their magazines??
- laughed along with a Thai shopkeeper who also thought that the kids in the Chinese family walking by sounded hilarious
> "We Thai, we also think that the Chinese language sound funny!!"
What a week...wonder if some joy is already forgotten??
I want this, please
